Building smarter tools for finance & real estate.

Current Project:

Treviwise is a open source financial management platform designed to provide users with a clean, intuitive dashboard for monitoring multi-currency portfolios, dividends, and exchange rates. With a robust set of personal finance tools, offering complete control over your financial assets, ensuring precise and audit-grade financial records.

Key Features:

  • Seamlessly track multiple brokerages and banks globally for a unified view of your financial landscape.

  • Access real-time exchange rates and dividend tracking.

  • Monitor bank accounts, real estate, collectibles and alternative investments with valuation tracking.

  • Interactive charts for in-depth asset allocation insights.

  • Integration with the Financial Modeling Prep API for up-to-date stock prices and data.

  • Monitor your net worth over time with precision.

  • Detailed profit and loss tracking with weighted average cost basis.

Development Journey:

The project was initially conceived out of a personal need for precise financial records. The project has evolved significantly, transitioning from a Python and Streamlit-based prototype to a modern stack. The current iteration leverages React for the frontend, FastAPI for the backend, and PostgreSQL for reliable data. This stack ensures a responsive user interface, high-performance API, and robust data management.

Treviwise is designed to empower users with the tools they need to manage their finances effectively, providing a seamless and comprehensive financial management experience.

Previous Project:

A platform for simplifying property management in Kuwait. Though currently on pause, it’s a project I’m passionate about evolving with new tech skills.

Challenges Faced:

• Adapting real estate workflows to digital formats

• Choosing the right stack for flexibility and scalability

• Balancing feature scope while learning best practices

What’s Next:

Though temporarily paused, Aqaratech remains a key part of my long-term vision. As I continue developing my skills in full-stack development and data modeling, I plan to relaunch it with stronger technical foundations and a more refined user experience.
